Job summary

Leeds Building Society in Peterborough is seeking a customer-focused branch team member to support customers with savings products and related services. You will open savings accounts, handle follow-up and inbound calls, and contribute to high standards of service in a busy branch.

The role involves daily admin tasks, accurate record keeping and proactive customer engagement to promote suitable products and services. This is a fixed term contract until February 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with customers delivering exceptional service.
• Good numeracy for cash transactions.
• Resilient and able to handle challenging customer situations.
• Passion and drive to achieve good customer outcomes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office or in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Open savings accounts for customers.
• Make follow-up calls and handle inbound inquiries about products and services.
• Discuss available products and services with customers.
• Book appointments, scan documents, write letters and process incoming post.
• Ensure customer records are accurate and up to date.
