Job summary

Rexel UK – Leeds Denmans branch is seeking a Branch Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service at the Trade Counter and manage stock and orders. You will support promotions, pick, pack, and deliver orders while engaging with trade professionals and the public.

The role requires a clean driving licence, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. Monday–Friday shifts, with opportunities for development and staff benefits in a busy wholesale environment.

• A clean valid driving licence is essential for this role.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service at the Trade Counter to trade professionals and the public.
• Efficiently serve walk-in customers and make proactive sales calls to a portfolio of new and existing accounts, collaborating with the external sales team.
• Process customer orders, generate accurate quotations, and actively follow up on leads.
• Oversee stock control, including processing orders, picking, packing, managing transfers, and safely loading/unloading delivery vans.
• Continuously learn about new industry products and market trends to better assist customers.
