Job summary

Total Plumbing in Pontyclun is seeking a friendly Branch Assistant to help run the Llantrisant branch. This hands-on role focuses on delivering excellent service to customers in person and over the phone while supporting daily operations.

You will handle order picking, stock checks, loading, safety, and basic sales tasks. Forklift training is provided, and there is a clear path for training and progression while working an average 43.25 hours per week with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service to every customer, in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
• Loading vehicles on the yard and ensure goods are stored safely.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-organised.
• Support with sales by processing transactions, raising paperwork, and forwarding leads.
• Handle supplier deliveries, checking quality and quantity of goods.
• Keep the branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if required).

Branch Assistant

Hours of work: An average of 43.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.
