Job summary

Total Plumbing Llantrisant is looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy team. You’ll deliver excellent service to customers, handle orders, and keep the branch running smoothly.

This hands-on role requires great communication, reliability, and teamwork. Forklift training is available, and experience in retail or warehouse roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service to every customer in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
• Load vehicles in the yard and ensure goods are stored safely.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-presented.
• Support sales by processing transactions, raising paperwork, and forwarding leads.
• Handle supplier deliveries, checking quality and quantity of goods.
• Keep the branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if required).

Hours of work: An average of 43.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.

Salary: NMW
