Job summary

LBS Builders Merchants Ltd in West Wales (Pembrokeshire/Aberystwyth) is seeking a Branch Assistant to join our busy team. This hands-on role focuses on delivering excellent service to customers while keeping the branch running smoothly.

You will help with order picking, stock transfers, loading vehicles, and maintaining shelves. Training is provided; forklift training is available. A positive, flexible team player is ideal for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class service to every customer, in person and over the phone.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for deliveries, collections, and stock transfers.
• Loading vehicles on the yard and ensure goods are stored safely.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep displays well-presented.
• Support with sales by processing transactions, raising paperwork, and forwarding leads.
• Handle supplier deliveries, checking quality and quantity of goods.
• Keep the branch, yard, and warehouse safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Operate forklifts safely (training provided if required).

Branch Assistant

Location: West - Covering Pembrokeshire and Aberystwyth

Are you friendly, hardworking, and customer-focused? We’re looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service to our customers while keeping the branch running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

Hours of work: An average of 43.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.

Salary: Dependant on experience
