Jewson Kirkwall a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a PART-TIME Branch Administrator who is as passionate about great service as we are.

We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 34 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata.

Hours: 32 hours per week, must be available on a Monday and Friday - flexible start/finish times

Location: Kirkwall, KW15 1GG

  • Part Time / Flexible working applicants welcomed and encouraged

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of administrative duties including but not limited to purchase orders, back-office functions, stock controls, delivery paperwork, PPI checks
  • Answer customer queries both face to face at the trade counter and via the phone
  • Contact our customers to update them with their orders and respond promptly to any account queries and supplier invoice queries
  • Ensure compliance with all company administration policies and procedures
  • Complete all work correctly and efficiently, with good office housekeeping
  • Participate in stock take duties as required
  • Support in other areas of the branch as and when needed
