Job description

We are looking for a Branch Administrator

As part of your role, you will support the branch by contributing to its financial performance.

Main duties include:
  • Ensure all proof of delivery (POD) notes are accounted for.
  • Investigate missing notes and PODs, obtaining replacements if required.
  • Balance the branch till daily, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Complete branch banking books and ensure monies are banked daily.
  • Forward till reports to Head Office and update banking templates.
  • Allocate pay later notes.
  • Monitor unpaid cash sale reports, escalating discrepancies or queries.
  • Ensure outstanding amounts are collected promptly.
  • Run weekly account statements and keep them current.
  • Maintain staff accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze the age debt report.
  • Allocate customer payments and ensure monies are banked daily.
  • Update customer notes with relevant details.
  • Review customer credit limits regularly.
  • Handle general customer queries face-to-face or over the phone.
Working hours:

Approximately 0.5 hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

You will have experience in telesales and/or customer service, ideally in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Ability to work quickly and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Organized with great attention to detail.
  • Target-driven, motivated by sales, and able to handle rejection.
  • Willing to learn and develop.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • IT literacy.
