Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Brake Press Operator in Feltham (TW13) to set up and operate brake press machinery, read technical drawings, and produce precise components for manufacture.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary of £40,000 per annum. Training is provided for brake press programming if needed, and you will join a collaborative, quality-focused team at a specialist engineering recruitment agency.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a workshop environment.
• Line-fed production experience with brake press machinery (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up and change tooling for Brake Press machines.
• Operate Brake Press machinery efficiently.
• Interpret technical design drawings to produce mechanical components with minimal waste.
• Ensure quality output and smooth operation.
