Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for a Brake Press Second Man in Govan, Glasgow G51. The role offers £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday daytime hours and an early finish on Fridays, with ongoing work and full training.

Ideal candidates will have experience operating brake presses, CNC machines or similar manufacturing roles. Full training will be provided, and immediate start is available for suitable applicants.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and production specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC hydraulic press brake machinery.
• Work from engineering drawings and production information.
• Select tooling and bending methods.
• Produce accurate folded metal components.
• Check finished components with measuring equipment.
• Make machine adjustments and perform basic checks.
• Support general production and fabrication duties.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
