Job summary

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK, is seeking a Brake Dyno Test Engineer for our Dyno department. You will lead setup, execution and reporting of brake dyno tests in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Reporting to the Lead Dyno Test Engineer, you will collaborate with Design, Performance, Aero and Race Engineers, develop data analysis tools, and ensure right-first-time test sequences while maintaining instrumentation and DAQ systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering or physics degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical reporting and presentation skills for stakeholders.
• Experience with data analysis and use of test equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Dyno Group liaison for Brake Dyno testing.
• Collaborate with Design, Performance, Aero and Race Engineers on test programmes.
• Maintain instrumentation and data acquisition systems for braking tests.
• Prepare and present concise daily and post-event test reports.
• Ensure test limits and safety envelopes are respected.
