Job summary

Brainkind in Liverpool is seeking a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker to help people with brain injuries regain independence. The role offers induction and specialist training, with no prior care experience required; you will support residents through daily living skills and personal care as needed.

Based at Redford Court/Lodge in Liverpool's community, you will follow individual support plans, coordinate activities, and work with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to promote recovery

Qualifications

• Empathy for residents and resilience to support rehabilitation.

• Excellent communication skills and good literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support following individual plans.
• Develop independent living skills (hygiene, meals, exercise, activities).
• Assist with personal care when needed, following therapist guidance.
• Organise and participate in activities in the service and local community.
