Job summary

Brainkind in Birmingham is seeking a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker to help adults with acquired brain injury living at a specialist residential centre on Bristol Road. You will follow individual support plans to promote independence in daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meals, exercise, and socialising.

No previous care experience is required; we provide a full induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• No prior care or support experience required; enthusiasm and a passion for helping people.
• Full induction and specialist training provided.
• Ability to follow individual support plans and assist with daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in rehabilitation and daily living activities to increase independence.
• Assist with personal hygiene, meals, exercise, leisure activities and socialising.
• Follow individual support plans and document progress as required.
• Provide encouragement and guidance to help residents regain skills and confidence.
