A bit about the job:

Our BPA team plays a key role in helping Aviva deliver successful pension risk transfer solutions for customers and support the continued growth of the business. As a BPA Deal Manager, you'll help to lead a team that provides expert insight, analysis and challenge on complex transactions and strategic decisions. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to manage risk, support commercial outcomes and drive performance. You'll also help improve methodologies, processes and controls to ensure we deliver efficient, consistent and customer-focused outcomes. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing area of the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Significant experience in actuarial, pricing, defined benefit or a related insurance discipline, with strong technical knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities.

• Experience leading teams and developing high-performing colleagues within a complex business environment.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues, provide constructive challenge and support key business decisions.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build strong working relationships. Partnered with experience managing external client relationship with EBCs and Trustees.

• Good understanding of risk management, governance and regulatory requirements within a regulated financial services environment.
