Job summary

Helen & Douglas House in Windsor is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant for a permanent, part-time role in our charity shop. You’ll help create a welcoming boutique-style experience and support daily shop operations, including cashiering and donations.

Hours are 15 hours per week across two days within a 7‑day trading week (including some weekends). Salary is £12.71 per hour. Closing date: 16 September 2026 at 12 noon.

Qualifications

• Friendliness and a customer-focused approach are essential.
• Previous experience in hospitality, high street retail or charity retail is desirable but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and creating a positive shop environment.
• Handling cashiering, banking and donations accurately.
• Creating attractive displays and keeping a clean, welcoming shop floor.
• Working with staff and volunteers to keep shop operations running smoothly.
