Job summary

Neill Strain Floral Couture Ltd in London is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily boutique operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflows across front of house and back-office teams.

Reporting to the Head of Retail and Talent, you will coordinate deliveries, manage CRM and order systems, and lead daily huddles to drive operational excellence in our flagship Belgravia boutique and Harrods concession.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within luxury floristry.
• 3–5 years of retail floristry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and administrative processes.
• Experience using CRM, retail management or order management systems.
• Experience with rota planning, reporting and operational administration.
• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day boutique operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Lead shifts or supervise Shift Leaders and manage opening/closing tasks.
• Coordinate customer orders, deliveries, collections and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in operational systems and reporting.
• Communicate workflows and issues to Store Manager and head of talent.
• Run weekly team huddles and support content creation.
• Ensure maintenance of store environment and safety compliance.
• Coordinate deliveries with florists, drivers and couriers.
• Monitor stock levels and support replenishment while minimising waste.
• Ensure invoices and payments are processed and reconciled.
