Job summary

Your World is seeking a Healthcare Assistant in Bournemouth for a locum position. The role requires a minimum of 12 months’ phlebotomy experience and involves working across site clinics, collecting venous samples, and performing essential clinical measurements in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay ranges from £15 to £20 per hour PAYE, with weekend premiums. The booking runs from 04/11/2026 to 12/12/2026, with shifts across Mon‑Sun and flexible start dates to support NHS‑related elective care

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• Outpatient or clinical environment experience.
• Basic Life Support training desirable (ILS/ALS).
• Strong communication skills with participants, colleagues and visitors.
• Willingness to travel between sites to support service needs.
• First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Complete venous blood sampling with accuracy and safety.
• Record measurements promptly in the clinical system.
• Support participant flow and maintain service efficiency.
• Provide on-site administrative support as needed.
• Escalate safety or operational issues to the Service Delivery Lead.
• Contribute to quality, safety and governance activities.
