Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Temporary Bottling Shift Supervisor to lead a team of 6–8 operators on a 12-hour shift pattern (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00). The role focuses on keeping bottling lines safe, efficient and compliant with quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and resolving day-to-day production challenges.

You will work with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams, coaching staff to empower problem solving and maintain production performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising people within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Experience working with bottling or high-speed production lines.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Experience using SAP and/or production performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of approximately 6–8 operators across the bottling operation.
• Ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Managing day-to-day operational challenges, including breakdowns, quality concerns and changes to the production plan.
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning and other teams to minimise disruption and maintain production performance.
• Coaching and developing team members, while creating an environment where people feel empowered to identify and solve problems.
• Monitoring production performance, line efficiency, waste and downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement across the bottling operation.
• Ensuring company policies, procedures and manufacturing standards are consistently followed.
