Job summary

Diageo is seeking a temporary Bottling Shift Supervisor to lead a team of 8–12 operators on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will ensure safety, quality and production targets are met while driving performance and continuous improvement across bottling lines.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, allocate resources, coach staff and coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Planning to minimise disruptions. Priorities include GMP adherence and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience leading teams.
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and manage priorities.
• Wlexibility to work a 12-hour shift pattern (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day bottling line operations to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Lead and coordinate shift teams ensuring staffing and resources meet production needs.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to operators and technicians.
• Ensure targets across Safety, Quality, Production, Cost and Supply Excellence are achieved.
• React to operational issues and changes to the production plan with timely decisions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Planning to minimise disruption and maintain performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and engage the team to resolve issues.
• Optimize line efficiency and minimise waste and downtime.
• Ensure GMP compliance and adherence to company standards.
• Manage attendance, holidays and shift coverage while maintaining records.
