Job summary

Confidential in Fareham, Hampshire is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join their expanding practice of Chartered Accountants. You will manage a mixed portfolio, handling bookkeeping, VAT returns, and supporting year-end accounts.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years UK practice experience with a client-facing background and is studying towards or holds an AAT qualification. Strong knowledge of Xero, Sage and QuickBooks is advantageous, with onsite parking and a flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years UK practice experience with client-facing duties.
• Proficient with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for clients on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Management accounts and annual accounts.
• Provide training and support on accounting software.
