Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a passion for accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for delivering bookkeeping services, preparing VAT returns, and participating in wider services, depending on your background and experience. You will work with varied clients across different industries and turnovers. Clients are primarily sole traders, limited companies, and LLPs. You will play a key support role to Managers and Directors, with increasing responsibility, client contact, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and adaptable work approach, with willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping are advantageous but not essential.

Benefits:

• Salary circa £24,000 - £35,000, depending on experience and qualifications, negotiable. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Hybrid working arrangements.
