Slim Chickens Trafford Centre is hiring a Back of House Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations, lead the team, and ensure top-quality dishes while upholding food safety standards. You’ll manage stock, coordinate with Front of House, and resolve issues quickly to keep service smooth.

Qualifications

Experience supervising kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient food prep.
Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Managing inventory, monitoring stock, and timely ordering of supplies.
Collaborating with Front of House to ensure seamless service.
Resolving kitchen issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
Supporting staff training and development to uphold brand standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation
Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a kitchen team
A passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
Flexible, availability that includes weekends, late nights and bank holidays – we’re always on the go!
