Slim Chickens Swansea is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to oversee all kitchen operations, lead the team, and ensure high-quality food and service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage inventory, uphold safety standards, and collaborate closely with front-of-house colleagues.

The position offers weekend and holiday flexibility, with opportunities to grow within BRG's expanding hospitality group.

• Experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to guide a kitchen team.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food.
• Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
• Flexible availability including weekends, late nights and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards.
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing
