• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Bodyshop Technician to join our team at Sytner Select Northampton.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Spraying modern water-based basecoat products and lacquers, including metallic and pearlescent colours for repairs and full vehicle repainting.
2. Performing minor repairs such as stone chips, scratches, and small dents.
3. Stripping and refitting items like bumpers, door handles, and mouldings (preferred but not essential).
4. Colour checking and matching using spraying out colour chips and in-house spectrometer readings.
5. Providing your own base and clear spray guns, and basic hand tools for stripping/refitting vehicle bodywork components.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Paint Technician is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a Bodyshop environment is beneficial.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for delivering high standards of repair with strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to complete jobs within estimated times.
