Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking an experienced Exterior Engineering leader to drive design, validation and delivery of exterior systems across multiple vehicle platforms. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage external partners and ensure programs meet quality, cost and schedule targets.

Responsibilities include strategic design leadership, risk management and continuous improvement, with a focus on high-performance road cars and industry-leading engineering standards.

Qualifications

Mechanical or Automotive Engineering degree required.
Proven leadership in exterior systems engineering.
Experience delivering automotive design under APQP-like processes.

Responsibilities

Lead exterior engineering to meet targets, KPI milestones and budget.
Coordinate design and engineering across programs with internal/external partners.
Ensure compliance to McLaren standards, cost targets and delivery schedules.
Mentor teams, manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
