Job Title: Body Structures Engineer

Location:

Hybrid Working - 3-4 days onsite in Woking, Surrey

About the company:

I am currently recruiting for a high-end, low-volume client who specializes in supercars, based in Surrey. They are looking for a Body Structures Engineer with experience in composites and carbon fibre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver body structures systems to meet design specifications and styling intentions.
• Support prototype and production build support.
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to industry and business standards.
• Support problem-solving activities during virtual and physical builds.
• Assess engineering prototypes for issues or risks and mitigate accordingly.
• Estimate costs and budgets for new designs.
• Represent the department in design reviews and during testing and development activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal, industry, business, and legislative standards.
• Coordinate design work for timely design releases and manufacturing input from suppliers.
• Design and manufacture of carbon fibre components.
• Create and manage engineering technical specifications.
• Experience in OEM DVP&R.
• Deliver DFM and DFA.
