Location: Hybrid Working - 3-4 days onsite in Woking, Surrey

Position Type: Rolling contract

About the company:

I am currently recruiting for a high-end low-volume client specializing in supercars, based in Surrey. They are seeking a body structures engineer with experience in composites and carbon fibre.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and deliver body structures systems to meet design specifications and styling intentions
• Support building prototypes and production components
• Ensure components and assemblies comply with industry and business standards
• Support problem-solving activities during virtual and physical builds
• Assess prototypes for issues or risks and mitigate accordingly
• Estimate costs and budgets for new designs
• Represent the department in design reviews and testing activities
• Ensure compliance with internal, industry, legislative standards
• Coordinate design work for timely releases and manufacturability
• Design and manufacture of carbon fibre components
• Create and manage engineering technical specifications
• Experience with OEM DVP&R processes
• Deliver DFM and DFA solutions
