Location: Hybrid Working - 3-4 days onsite in Woking, Surrey

Position Type: Rolling contract

About the company:

I am currently recruiting for a high-end, low-volume client specializing in supercars, based in Surrey. They are looking for a Body Structures Engineer with experience in composites and carbon fibre.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and delivering body structure systems to meet design specifications and styling intentions.
2. Supporting prototype and production builds.
3. Ensuring components and assemblies adhere to industry and business standards.
4. Supporting problem-solving activities during virtual and physical builds.
5. Assessing engineering prototypes for issues or risks and mitigating them.
6. Estimating costs and budgets for new designs.
7. Representing the department in design reviews and testing activities.
8. Ensuring compliance with internal, industry, business, and legislative standards.
9. Coordinating design work to deliver timely design releases and meet manufacturing inputs.
10. Design and manufacture of carbon fibre components.
11. Creating and managing engineering technical specifications.
12. Experience with OEM DVP&R, DFM, and DFA.
