Location: Hybrid Working - 3-4 days onsite in Woking, Surrey

Position Type: Rolling contract

About the company:

I am currently recruiting for a high-end, low-volume client specializing in supercars, based in Surrey. They are looking for a Body Structures Engineer with experience in composites and carbon fibre.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver body structure systems to meet design specifications and styling intentions.
• Support prototype and production builds.
• Ensure components and assemblies comply with industry and business standards.
• Support problem-solving activities during virtual and physical builds.
• Assess engineering prototypes for issues or risks and mitigate them.
• Estimate costs and budgets for new designs.
• Represent the department in design reviews and testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal, industry, business, and legislative standards.
• Coordinate own design work to deliver timely design releases and meet manufacturing input requirements.
• Design and manufacture of carbon fibre components.
• Create and manage engineering technical specifications.
• Experience with OEM DVP&R processes.
• Deliver DFM and DFA.
