Ourway Care Ltd in Bodmin seeks a Female Support Worker to assist a young woman living with a spinal cord injury. You will provide personalised daily living support, assist with mobility and activities, and help maintain independence in a warm home environment with pets.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and a proactive approach. Weekend, night shifts, and driving requirements apply; applicants must be comfortable with home care and have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and respiratory care
• Supporting with daily living tasks and household duties
• Assisting with community outings and occasional holidays
• Understand communication needs and adapt style
• Keep accurate records of care provided
• Work with doctors and therapists to ensure consistency of support
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Participate in learning and development opportunities
• This post may require other duties as reasonably required by Line Manager
