Job summary

Sytner BMW Cardiff has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team and support day-to-day accounts functions from purchase ledgers to cash postings and reconciliations. You will assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and working well within a small team in a fast-paced office environment.

Experience with Excel is essential and knowledge of CDK/Kerridge would be advantageous, though not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase Ledger / accounts department routines.
• Good working knowledge of Excel required.
• Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management System is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts functions from purchase ledgers to daily cash postings and bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties.

About The Role

Sytner BMW Cardiff has a fantastic opportunity available for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

As a Sytner Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will support the day-to-day functions of the accounts department from purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays – Friday.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of Purchase Ledger / accounts department routines are essential, as well as a good working knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of the Motor Trade and the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management System is not essential but would be advantageous. You will need a good level of IT literacy and be able to prioritise tasks well.

You will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent and able to work to strict deadlines whilst still paying close attention to the detail. You will also be great at working both as an individual and as part of a small team in a fast-paced office environment.
