Job summary

Sytner Nottingham BMW is hiring an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day accounting activities across ledgers, cash postings, and bank reconciliations. You will assist the Dealership Accountant and Management with ad-hoc duties as needed.

The role requires experience in accounting routines, stock checks, and month-end processes. A knowledge of CDK Kerridge and MS Office is helpful. Flexible patterns may include weekends to serve customers well.

• Knowledge of stock checks and month-end processes is essential.
• Familiarity with CDK Kerridge and MS Office is advantageous.

About the role

Sytner BMW Nottingham has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from the sales and purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays Friday; however, this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations are essential. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office would is not essential but would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.
