BMSI is seeking an experienced BMS Support Engineer to join our Southern Support team, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. You will work primarily on Trend Controls and IQ Vision systems, providing planned maintenance, fault finding and on-site technical support across a portfolio of customer sites.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading UK Building Management Systems specialist that values technical excellence, collaboration and personal development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
• Strong knowledge of Trend Controls and IQ Vision is essential.
• Experience with other BMS platforms (Siemens, Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure) is advantageous.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence; willing to travel to Farnborough.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on Trend BMS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults to ensure systems operate effectively.
• Carry out small repairs, remedial works and system modifications.
• Respond to service calls and support customers during failures.
• Carry out routine inspections and health checks of BMS equipment.
• Produce clear and accurate service reports following site visits.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional support.
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working within the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
• Strong knowledge of Trend Controls and IQ Vision is essential.
• Experience of Siemens, Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure or other BMS platforms would be advantageous.
• Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of HVAC plant and mechanical building services.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to customers.
• Able to work independently while contributing to a wider support team.
• Good IT and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Located within a reasonable travelling distance of Farnborough.
