Job summary

BMSI, one of the UK's leading Building Management Systems specialists, is seeking an experienced BMS Support Engineer to join the South Wales team. The role involves maintenance, fault finding, repairs and technical support across customer sites in the region.

Ideal candidates will have proven BMS experience, knowledge of Trend or Siemens systems, and a good understanding of HVAC. You will travel to sites around Cardiff and potentially across South Wales, with a competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Building Management Systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of Trend or Siemens BMS systems is essential.
• Experience with Tridium, Schneider or other BMS platforms is advantageous but not essential.
• Good understanding of mechanical plant and HVAC systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers.
• Able to work independently and within a support team.
• Full UK driving licence and PC literacy.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota for emergency support.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced BMS Support Engineer looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for a BMS Support Engineer to join our South Wales Support Team, providing maintenance, fault finding, repairs and technical support across a range of customer sites throughout the region.

As one of the UK's largest Building Management Systems specialists, BMSI offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of systems, customers and projects while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to live within a reasonable travelling distance of Cardiff and be comfortable travelling to customer sites across South Wales as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on Building Management Systems.

• Diagnose and resolve faults across a variety of BMS installations.

• Undertake small repairs and remedial works.

The Ideal Candidate
