Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Manchester is seeking an Applications Engineer (BMS / Strategy) to design and develop BMS control strategies and graphics, with most work taking place in the office and occasional site support.

You will translate project requirements into effective control strategies, software and graphics, collaborating with project and commissioning engineers to ensure project delivery meets specifications. The role offers training, progression and enhanced holiday benefits.

Qualifications

Experience working with BMS / BEMS systems.
Experience writing BMS control strategies.
Experience creating BMS graphics / front-end graphics.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Develop and write BMS control strategies for projects.
Create and configure BMS graphics and graphical interfaces.
Interpret mechanical, electrical and HVAC drawings to develop appropriate control solutions.
Configure BMS software and associated control systems.
Work closely with project and commissioning engineers to ensure strategies and graphics meet project requirements.
Review and amend control strategies and graphics throughout project delivery.
Support testing, fault finding and commissioning activities where required.
Attend larger project sites occasionally to provide commissioning support.
Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.
Work predominantly from the office as part of the BMS engineering team.
