Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and write BMS control strategies for projects.
• Create and configure BMS graphics and graphical interfaces.
• Interpret mechanical, electrical and HVAC drawings to develop appropriate control solutions.
• Configure BMS software and associated control systems.
• Work closely with project and commissioning engineers to ensure strategies and graphics meet project requirements.
• Review and amend control strategies and graphics throughout project delivery.
• Support testing, fault finding and commissioning activities where required.
• Attend larger project sites occasionally to provide commissioning support.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.
• Work predominantly from the office as part of the BMS engineering team.

Are you a BMS Engineer with experience writing control strategies and creating BMS graphics, looking to move into a predominantly office-based role where you can focus on the design and development of BMS projects?

Do you have experience with BMS software and HVAC controls and want a role offering a better balance between office-based engineering and occasional site support?

This role will see you responsible for developing BMS control strategies and graphical interfaces for a range of projects. Working predominantly from the office, you will translate project requirements and engineering information into effective control strategies, software and graphics, while occasionally supporting commissioning on larger projects.

The company is continuing to grow its BMS project offering and is looking for a technically capable engineer who can contribute to the design and delivery of projects while developing their expertise across BMS controls and software.

The Role
