Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a BMS Engineer to install, commission and service BMS and HVAC control systems across Manchester and the North West. You will handle fault finding, system upgrades and coaching through training opportunities.

The role offers a competitive salary (£45k–£50k), with OTE £55k–£60k, plus a company vehicle, tech package and progression opportunities in a growing building controls team.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS or HVAC control systems is required.
• Strong electrical background is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission BMS equipment and associated control wiring.
• Configure controllers, upload software and perform functional testing.
• Diagnose and resolve BMS, electrical and control system faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
• Produce reports on system performance, alarms and remedial works.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams on-site.
• Travel to sites across Manchester and the North West.
