Job summary

ARC Group is expanding its BMS and building services expertise in the UK. The role focuses on developing the client base and delivering technically viable sales solutions in a hybrid working environment.

You will engage with clients, prepare proposals, and collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure commercial and technical fit, while maintaining strong relationships for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of BMS, HVAC, or building controls.
• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, estimating, or business development.
• Good understanding of building services and control systems.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Good commercial awareness and proactive opportunity identification.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the BMS/building controls market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and presentations to understand requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals and sales documentation.
• Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically suitable and commercially viable.
• Provide technical advice and support throughout the sales process.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop long-term client relationships.
• Keep up to date with developments in BMS, controls, HVAC and related technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client activity and project progress.
