Job summary

VIGO Recruitment is seeking a BMS Engineer – Projects & Commissioning for a permanent role around Northampton. You’ll diversify beyond maintenance into commissioning and project delivery, with exposure to Trend and Tridium control systems.

Based in the Midlands, you’ll join an established team with a wide project range from modest £20k to £400k, typically £100k–£150k, and a salary £50k–£60k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Good BMS foundations with ambition to develop
• Experience in commissioning or project delivery preferred
• Willingness to travel regionally and work across Midlands

Responsibilities

• BMS commissioning
• BMS maintenance and fault finding
• Supporting and delivering project works
• Working with Trend and Tridium control systems
• Taking increasing ownership of projects as experience develops
• Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on site
• Working directly with customers when required
• Supporting projects from engineering through to commissioning and completion
• Developing wider technical and project-delivery capability
