Job summary
Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning & Service Engineer to cover the Midlands region with occasional travel to London. The role focuses on commissioning new and refurbished BMS installations, fault-finding and system optimisation across diverse sites.
You will configure and test BMS systems, modify software/graphics, and support client handover while working with key platforms like Trend and Tridium Niagara.
Qualifications
- Experience commissioning BMS systems and associated controls.
Responsibilities
- Commission new and refurbished BMS installations in line with project specifications and sequences of operation.
- Configure, test and optimise BMS systems including graphics, alarms, schedules and control strategies.
- Carry out software modifications and improvements to existing BMS installations.
- Complete planned maintenance, reactive service and fault-finding visits across customer sites.
- Diagnose faults across BMS controllers, field devices, HVAC plant and networks.
- Support integration of BMS with HVAC, lighting, metering and other building services.
- Assist with energy optimisation and improving system performance.
- Complete commissioning documentation, test sheets and technical reports.
- Provide client demonstrations, training and technical support during project handover.
