Job summary

BM Caterers in London is seeking a reliable Vending Assistant to support our vending operation and ensure smooth, customer-ready service. The role features rotating shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm and 11:00am to 20:00pm, with no weekends or bank holidays.

You will replenish beverages and snacks, maintain cleanliness, and assist with restaurant operations during lunch service. We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and restock bean-to-cup coffee machines and beverage supplies across designated tea points.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain coffee machines to ensure hygiene standards.
• Monitor coffee machines for faults, low stock levels, and operational issues; report problems promptly.
• Deliver and replenish fresh fruit, biscuits, and other refreshments to tea points daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tea points; ensure they are stocked and welcoming.
• Conduct checks to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management, reporting shortages and ordering needs.
• Support restaurant operations during lunch service, including food replenishment and clearing tables.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday work.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

6:00am - 2.30pm

11:00am - 20:00pm

Job Description

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain coffee machines to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
• Monitor coffee machines for faults, low stock levels, and operational issues, reporting problems promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tea points, ensuring they remain fully stocked, tidy, and welcoming.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management, reporting shortages and ordering requirements when necessary.
• Support restaurant operations during lunch service, including food replenishment, clearing tables, cleaning dining areas, and assisting customers as required.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all service areas.
