Job summary

BM Caterers in Reading is seeking a hands-on Chef to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, help deliver high-quality meals on budget, and contribute to menu planning and food innovation.

You will uphold food safety and HACCP standards, guide junior staff, and step in for the Head Chef when needed. The role offers development opportunities and a supportive, inclusive team.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for a committed cook looking to grow within a respected catering company.

• Experience in a similar chef role.
• Strong food safety knowledge and HACCP experience.
• Ability to lead and develop others.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Calm and positive under pressure.
