Job summary

BM Caterers in London is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead one of our kitchens and help shape the food culture that makes BM Caterers stand out.

You will oversee a team of five, create seasonal menus, drive innovation and ensure top standards across hospitality and events catering.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Passion for ingredients, seasonality and presentation.
• Commercial awareness and focus on standards.
• Great communication and organisation skills.
• A proactive and inspiring approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and set high standards.
• Create seasonal, nutritious and well-balanced menus.
• Drive food innovation and strong GP performance.
• Recruit, train and develop your team.
• Work closely with site and operations teams.
• Attend BM forums and lead craft workshops.
• Build strong customer connections and use feedback to inspire ideas.
• Ensure full food safety and compliance standards are met.

Head Chef – BM Caterers

Location: 1 St Giles High St, London WC2H 8NU Salary:£50,000per year Contract: Full time, Permanent Working pattern: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm with flexibility for overtime

Start date: 4th December.

This exciting opportunity involves leading a team of five within a busy kitchen operation, with a strong focus on hospitality and events catering. The site currently offers a limited restaurant service, with plans to expand the food offering in the near future, making this an excellent role for a driven and ambitious chef looking to make a real impact.
