Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in the United Kingdom is seeking a Medical Lab Assistant within Blood Sciences to support sample preparation and data entry. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with occasional Saturdays.

You will collect and register specimens, prepare samples for analysis, operate laboratory equipment under supervision, and ensure accurate records in the LIMS while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection, registration and preparation.
• Receive, sort and identify specimens.
• Register patient details and tests on the LIMS.
• Prepare samples for analysis under supervision.
• Operate centrifuges and pipettes per SOPs.
• Maintain clean benches and equipment.
• Safely handle biological materials and chemicals.
• Prepare referral samples for external analysis.
