Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to prepare and analyse water samples, performing filtration and pipetting in line with our protocols. You will operate lab equipment, record results in the LIMS, ensure sample traceability, and handle labeling, storage and waste disposal with care.

Working 37.5 hours per week (Tue-Sat, 07:00-15:00), you’ll join a team focused on quality, accuracy and continuous improvement while upholding hygiene and safety standards in a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• Prior laboratory experience desirable but not required; full training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse water samples by filtration and pipetting as per protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibrations and cleanliness.
• Record results in the LIMS to ensure traceability and accuracy.
• Label, store and dispose of samples correctly and safely.
• Assist with quality checks and process controls and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain clean, aseptic working environment and follow waste procedures.
