Job summary

The Recruitment Experts are seeking an experienced Block Property Manager to join our Manchester team. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of residential developments, ensuring properties are well maintained and clients and residents receive a responsive, proactive service.

This is a role with hybrid working (up to 1–2 days from home) and a salary of £34,000–£40,000 DOE. You’ll benefit from senior support, clear progression paths and ongoing training to develop industry qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous block or residential property management experience.
• Understanding of service charges and basic financial administration.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and professional approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of a residential property portfolio in Manchester.
• Respond to resident and client enquiries promptly.
• Liaise with contractors and arrange maintenance and call-outs.
• Keep residents updated on works, repairs and developments.
• Assist clients with budget planning and future maintenance.
• Obtain contractor quotations and monitor expenditures.
• Conduct regular development and site inspections.
• Provide updates, recommendations and solutions to ongoing issues.
• Identify opportunities to support additional developments.
• Build relationships with leaseholders, residents and contractors.
