The Ideal Block Manager Will Have

• Relevant Block Management Experience preferred
• Good understanding of property maintenance and overseeing in-house and third-party contractors
• Ability to deal with ad hoc problems and unforeseen situations
• Experience in maintaining properties and controlling costs
• Minimum of 2 years of specific property management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Driving license and vehicle ownership are essential, as travel across the UK will be required

Block Management Responsibilities

• Block management and compliance
• Service charge budget setting
• Handling occupier issues appropriately
• Creating purchase orders, cheque requests, credit notes
• Credit control and rent collection
• Liaising with accounts regarding payments and receipts
• Logging and managing maintenance issues, arranging repairs and services
