Job summary

Blue Zoo seeks a talented Blender Generalist focused on Lighting and Compositing to support the Short Form and Commercials team. The role involves translating Maya assets into Blender scenes, lighting, texturing, and final compositing in Nuke, with hybrid and remote options discussed.

You will collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality renders, manage shot delivery, and adapt to evolving project needs in a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience using Blender across modelling, texturing, lighting and compositing.
• Ability to translate Maya animation into Blender and render in Blender with Nuke compositing.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, lighting and compositing within Blender for short form projects.
• Importing assets, editing materials and modifiers, and ensuring clean topology.
• Render in Blender and finalize in Nuke for delivery.
• Collaborate with Team Lead and CG Supervisor to meet deadlines.
