Asda is seeking a Trading Manager for Biscuits in Leeds, leading the impulse category with responsibility for strategy, supplier negotiations and joint business planning. You will own the category P&L and drive growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial trading, buying or category management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of delivering commercial results.
• Experience managing category budgets, sales performance and P&L accountability.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end trading performance of the Biscuits category, delivering sales, profit and market share growth.
• Develop and execute category plans meeting customer needs and supporting Asda's strategy.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure best commercial outcomes on pricing, promotions and range.
• Manage and optimise category P&L, balancing customer value with returns.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Build supplier partnerships and joint business plans for long-term success.
• Monitor commodity movements and market drivers to guide trading strategies.
• Drive cost-to-serve and efficiency programmes with suppliers for value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver category initiatives and great customer experiences.
