Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Bioresources Process Scientist to join its high-performing technical team. You will oversee sludge treatment processes across six sites, using data analysis to monitor performance, identify non-compliance, and drive improvements for biosolids quality and emissions reductions.

You’ll contribute to commissioning new plants and collaborate with stakeholders to implement safe, timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with process systems and data analysis to understand performance.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Severn Trent region.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations to identify and resolve non-compliance issues and implement solutions.
• Monitor sludge treatment processes through sampling and data analysis to drive efficiency and reduce emissions.
• Support commissioning of new plants and integration of new schemes with Capital Delivery Team.
• Provide training and set standards across sites to build capability.
