Qualifications

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist or relevant accredited degree for trainee role.
• Experience in healthcare and Haematology or Transfusion preferred.
• Supervising or training experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, process, and validate specialist investigations in Haematology.
• Ensure high-quality and timely analysis of patient blood samples.
• Participate in the 24/7 out-of-hours shift rota as a specialist BMS.

Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Computer literate (including pathology systems and Microsoft packages)

Excellent attention to detail

Able to work flexibly to meet changing requirements

Education

HCPC registration
